NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- The Tennessee men's tennis team rallied back from brink to tie the match but could complete the comeback Sunday in a 4-3 loss to Vanderbilt at Currey Tennis Center.
The Vols (8-6, 0-2 SEC) fell behind 3-0 but turned the corner to tie the match 3-3 behind wins from Scott Jones, Srdjan Jakovljevic and Luca Wiedenmann.

Freshmen Jones and Wiedenmann both picked up their first career SEC wins. Jones beat Baker Newman 6-1, 7-6(4) on court 3, and Wiedenmann defeated Panu Virtanen 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 at the bottom of the lineup.
