LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Tennessee swimming and diving team returns to the road Thursday with a top-20 meeting against Louisville's squads at Ralph Wright Natatorium beginning at 2 p.m.
The Tennessee women (4-1, 1-1 SEC) are coming off a top-20 sweep against Kentucky and Indiana last week at home. The UT men (4-1, 2-0) defeated Kentucky but lost to top-ranked Indiana.
Sophomore Erika Brown earned SEC Swimmer of the Week honors for the first time for her performance against Indiana and Kentucky. She won the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly. Her butterfly time 52.61 is currently the third-fastest in the country.
Junior Colin Zeng was named SEC Diver of the Week for a second time this season after winning 1-meter and taking second on 3-meter in a star-studded diving field that featured four NCAA finalists from last season.
Tennessee and Louisville face nearly every year during the fall semester. Louisville won the men's and women's competition last year in Knoxville. Senior Sam McHugh notably won three races: the 200 butterfly, 500 freestyle and 200 IM.
