Stodder Set for Oracle ITA National Fall Championships
October 31, 2017 | Men's Tennis
PALM DESERT, Calif. — Tennessee junior Timo Stodder will face BYU's Sean Hill to open the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships Wednesday.
Their match is scheduled for a 3:45 p.m. Eastern start time at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa. Matches will also be held this week at Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Stodder is in the second quarter of the draw, where No. 4 Skander Mansouri of Wake Forest is the highest seed in the section. Mississippi State's Nuno Borges is the No. 1 seed in the 64-player draw.
This week marks Stodder's third appearance in a national collegiate event. He reached the second round of the ITA All-American Championships earlier this fall. He enters the tournament with a 10-3 record, qualifying for the fall championships by making the finals of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships earlier this month.
