KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee swimming and diving team returns home to host a double-dual meet against Indiana and Kentucky on Friday at Allan Jones Aquatic Center.Â
The standard 32-event meet schedule begins at 11 a.m. Admission is free.
After a weekend off from competition, Tennessee is back on the starting blocks for another high-talent double dual meet. Five of the six individual teams are in the TYR/CSCAA top 25. The No. 12 Tennessee women (2-1, 0-1 SEC) take on No. 7 Indiana and No. 15 Kentucky. The Tennessee men (3-0, 1-0 SEC) are up to No. 15 in the rankings, and Indiana's men hold the top spot.Â
The Tennessee men are coming off a sweep of top-25 teams Auburn, 180-173, and Wisconsin, 261-91, in a double dual meet at Auburn in which the Vols won 10 of 19 events. Junior newcomer Colin Zeng was named the SEC Diver of the Week after sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions, the only Vol to win multiple events in an overall team effort.Â
