"We have had a great lead up of training," Tennessee director of track and field and cross country Beth Alford-Sullivan said. "We came off of the meet in Pennsylvania relatively unscathed. Everybody came through healthy and we put together a great training cycle, all the way through last weekend. We are fresh and excited to race again. Many of our team members have been on this course before. There are a few freshmen who haven't, but most of everyone has been on this course before. We feel confident going in and we are thrilled that Louisville is hosting the nationals and get a shot to take a look at this course and see if this race favors the Vols as we go forward."
