2016 Volleyball: Stephanie Buss

Our video feature series continues with the junior class. Up first is right side/middle blocker Stephanie Buss from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

AS A SOPHOMORE AT TENNESSEE (2015)

Finished her first year as a Vol by playing in 23 matches, starting 10. She averaged 1.56 kills/set (89 total) and 0.58 blocks/set (33 total).
Recorded nine kills in a win against Coppin State on Aug. 29, hitting .471
Added nine kills and hit a season-high .533 against Jacksonville on Sept. 12

Played in all 29 matches as a freshman, appearing in 106 sets and totaling 150 kills, 28 digs, and a team-high 90 total blocks
Added five service aces and seven assists
Hammered down a career best 15 kills against Wake Forest on Sept. 13 on a career-high 23 attempts while hitting .609, another personal best
Set a career-high eight blocks against Cal Poly on Oct. 10

Played High School Volleyball at Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, S.D. where she was a four-year letter winner and team captain for two years
Helped lead her team to back-to-back wins at the South Dakota State AA Championships
Earned All-State First Team and All-Conference Team honors in 2013 and 2014
Made the All-Tournament Team in 2011
Led team with 448 kills in her senior season and tallied 72 solo blocks
Received Scholar-Athlete Award during all four years
Also participated in Track and Field as a freshman and sophomore
Played club with Kairos Elite Volleyball
