KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- As we continue our countdown today we’ll get to know more about one of Tennessee’s top offensive threats last season, redshirt sophomore Anna Bialczak.
Need to Know
Bialczak was part of Tennessee’s 2014 signing class but had to sit the year out because of an injury. The Lutherville, Md., native’s debut season was worth the wait, however, bursting onto the scene in 2015 with three goals and a team-high six assists. Bialczak played in all 18 games for the Orange and White while making 12 starts last season. Her 12 points were second on the team, trailing only Anna McClung who registered 13. During her high school career she led McDonogh High to three Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) Championships and was named the Baltimore Sun’s Player of the Year in 2013. She was also named an NSCAA Fall High School Girls' All-American in 2012 and 2013 on top of earning Maryland all-state honors twice.
