Women's Tennis Earns Team, Individual ITA Honors

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic team honors for the 2015-16 season in addition to four Volunteers being named ITA Scholar-Athletes on Thursday.
The athletes listed were Ashlee Boles, Ashley Bongart, Eve Repic and Gabby Schuck. This marked the third time Boles had received the honor (2014-15) and was the second time for Repic (2015).
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale).
This was the fifth consecutive year the Volunteers landed players on the list, totaling 24 selections during that span.
The women's tennis team landed seven individuals on the 2016 SEC Spring Academic Honor Rolls in June.
