COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Senior Amanda Carner broke the school record in the 200-yard IM and four women qualified for the championship 50 freestyle final to start Wednesday's competition.
Also on the schedule tonight is the 200 freestyle relay.

C Final: Caroline Finkbeiner (4:46.28), Mary Griffith (4:46.43)
It took at least an NCAA B cut to make the finals in the women's 500 free, and the Vols qualified three swimmers to the finals. Madeline Tegner had the 11th-fastest prelim time in 4:44.51, less than a second away from being in the top eight.

Amanda Carner broke the 200 IM school record, reaching the wall in 1:56.71, breaking fellow senior Anna DeMonte's 2015 mark of 1:57.28. In all, six UT women advanced to the finals with five posting career-best times.

Sam McHugh posted a personal best, swimming the third-fastest time in program history (1:45.46).

B Final: Alex Cleveland (22.60)
C Final: Amy Lubawy (22.95)
Tennessee has six swimmers in tonight's women's 50 freestyle, four of them in the championship heat. Madeline Banic and Kira Toussaint both swam their fastest times of their UT careers to make the top eight. Faith Johnson was a winner in this event as a freshman in 2013. She has made the finals in the event all four years of her career. Harper Bruens was a finalist last season.

C Final: Ryan Coetzee (19.89), Gustav Aberg Lejdstrom (20.03)
Kyle DeCoursey is in the finals of his first career individual event, grabbing the final qualifying time in the 50 freestyle. It is the 10th-fastest time in program history. Ryan Coetzee and Gustav Aberg Lejdstrom are also swimming tonight in the C final.
MEN'S 1-METER DIVING
Who's Diving Tonight?
A Final: Mauricio Robles (384.70)
Mauricio Robles will look to defend his SEC 1-meter title tonight. He posted his second-best score in the preliminaries, putting together a six-dive total of 384.70. In addition to winning this event in 2015, he was a silver medalist in 2014.
