Tennessee received a wave of signees during the Early Signing Period which started this week, as both Basketball teams prepare to open the season on Friday.
Signing Day
SIGNING DAY -- Class of 2017 High School students from around the country officially signed their letter of intent to join the Vols during the early signing period this week.

LADY VOLS THRIVE IN 95-56 EXHIBITION WIN -- Redshirt junior Diamond DeShields recorded a double-double to lead No. 13/14 Tennessee to a 95-56 exhibition win over Carson-Newman Monday night at Thompson-Boling Arena.

BARNETT ON UPDATED WATCHLIST FOR HENDRICKS AWARD -- Tennessee junior defensive end Derek Barnett has been named to the latest update to the watch list for the 15th edition of the Ted Hendricks Award, as announced by the Ted Hendricks Foundation on Wednesday.
Rowing
VOLS TAKE FIRST IN TWO EVENTS AT HEAD OF THE HOOCH -- Tennessee Rowing closed out the fall season Saturday, finishing first in both the Women's Championship 2x and Women's Championship 4+ at the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga.
Men's Tennis
VFLS RETURN FOR KNOXVILLE CHALLENGER -- Five former Tennessee tennis stars are back on their home courts this week for the Knoxville Challenger at Goodfriend Tennis Center. Mikelis Libietis (2012-15) and Rhyne Williams (2010-11) received tournament wild cards and will join Tennys Sandgren (2010-11) in the singles draw. All three are joining Jarryd Chaplin (2011-14) and Hunter Reese (2012-15) in the doubles field.
Cross Country
UT MEN RECORD TOP 10 FINISH AT NCAA SOUTH REGIONAL -- Zach Long finished 14th, Megan Murray took 35th and the men's squad recorded a top 10 finish as Tennessee competed at the NCAA South Regional Championship at Apalachee Regional Park on Friday morning.
Volleyball
VOLLEYBALL HOSTS DADS & DAUGHTERS DAY ON NOV. 20 -- The Tennessee volleyball team will host its first Dads and Daughters match on Nov. 20 when the Vols take on LSU at 4 p.m. Eastern at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Men's Golf
FORD, GOSS ADVANCE IN Q-SCHOOL -- As the final tournaments of 2016 are being played, Tennessee Men's Golf has two VFL, Charlie Ford and Oliver Goss, playing in Q-School on the European Tour and Web.com Tour.
