Hammond, Repic Set to Begin ITA All-American Championships

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released the 2016 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships qualifying draws Sunday, as senior Eve Repic and sophomore Sadie Hammond are set to compete in the championships on Tuesday.
In doubles, the duo of Repic and Hammond will go up against the 59th-ranked team of Mickey Hsu and Kristen Poei of Cal State Northridge at noon EST to begin the day.
Hammond, who is ranked 35th in the country in singles and is the eight seed in qualifying, will face No. 52 Caroline Doyle from Stanford at 1:45 p.m. Repic will play Syracuse's Valerie Salazar at 3:30 p.m.
The tournament is hosted by the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, California, with qualifying beginning Oct. 4-5 and the main draw running from Oct. 6-9.
