TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Tennessee volleyball team continues SEC play this weekend with a road match at Alabama and a home contest against Auburn.

Tennessee (13-8, 3-5 SEC) starts the weekend against Alabama (15-7, 4-5) on Friday at 7 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. Central) at Foster Auditorium. It will be broadcast on SEC Network.

Sunday's home match against Auburn (13-10, 7-3) at Thompson-Boling Arena begins at 1:30 p.m.

The Vols played just one match last weekend, losing at Mississippi State 3-0. Alabama split matches last weekend, beating Arkansas 3-0 but fall to Ole Miss 3-1.

This weekend marks the first and only time the Vols play Auburn and Alabama this year.
This is also the first weekend the Vols have had one home and one road match. It will happen two more times in the final five weeks of the season.
The Vols are looking for their first SEC road win of the season after starting the year 0-4 in road matches.
UT has played 9 true road matches already this year (4-5).
Individual highs in road matches this year: kills (23 - Grubbs), digs (27 - Villano), blocks (8 - Treiber, Andreno) and assists (56 - Hansen).

LAST WEEK...

The Vols played just one match last week, losing 3-0 at Mississippi State.
Erica Treiber and Bri Holmes led the Vols with seven kills each.
Brooke Schumacher had 10 digs, her 11th match with double-digit digs.
The Bulldogs had also defeated the Vols 3-0 at home in the SEC opener, UT's only home loss.
