STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Tennessee Volunteers play their only SEC volleyball match of the weekend Sunday when they face Mississippi State on the road.
The match starts at 3 p.m. Eastern and will be televised on ESPNU.
The Vols (13-7, 3-4 SEC) are looking to extend their two-match winning streak after winning a pair of matches at home. Mississippi State (11-11, 3-5) has lost three in a row, including 3-0 Friday at No. 10 Florida.
Mississippi State won the first meeting of the year in Knoxville, 3-0.

ON THE ROAD
- The Vols are looking for their first SEC road win of the season after starting the year 0-3 in road matches (South Carolina, #10 Florida, #21 Kentucky).
- UT has played 8 true road matches already this year (4-4).
- Individual highs in road matches this year: kills (23 - Grubbs), digs (27 - Villano), blocks (8 - Treiber, Andreno) and assists (56 - Hansen).
LAST WEEK
- The Vols are coming off their first 2-0 weekend in SEC play, beating Ole Miss 3-0 and Arkansas 3-1.
- Senior Raina Hembry had won of her best matches of the season in the win over Ole Miss with 12 kills and 7 blocks.
- Freshman Sedona Hansen posted double-doubles (assists, digs) in both matches.
- Sophomore Brooke Schumacher recorded a career-best 18 digs against Arkansas.
- Against Arkansas, four players had at least 10 kills and four had at least 10 digs. The weekend marked the first home matches for the Vols since Sept. 25.
SERIES VS. MISSISSIPPI STATE
- Series: UT leads 43-11
- Last 10: UT 6-4
- Current Streak: MSU W1
- Last Match: Mississippi State won 3-0 in the SEC opener at TBA. Despite the loss, the Vols led MSU in hitting percentage (.278 to .204), digs (42 to 29) and blocks (9.0 to 8.0). Bri Holmes led Tennessee with 14 kills; Tessa Grubbs added 13.
- Mississippi State is the first team the Vols are facing twice this year. Other teams the Vols play twice: Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Missouri.
