KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Three Tennessee players have been named to midseason top 100 player lists by Top Drawer Soccer this week.
Hannah Wilkinson and Carlyn Baldwin were included on the TDS Midseason Women’s Top 100 Players list while Maya Neal was featured on the TDS Midseason Women’s Top 100 Freshmen list.
Wilkinson checked in at No. 69 on the list while Baldwin came in at No. 91. Both players were also named to the TDS Preseason Women’s Top 100 list at the beginning of the season. Neal earned the final spot on the freshmen list at No. 100, marking her first appearance.
Wilkinson currently leads the Vols with eight goals and a career-best 23 points this season, which ranks fourth in the SEC. Baldwin has also had her best season since coming to Rocky Top, already setting career highs in goals (two) and points (six) while tying a career high with two assists this season.
Neal has proven to be one of the Vols most valuable and versatile players this season. She began the year as a forward and was leading the team with three goals before making the move to center back to help sure up UT’s back four. Tennessee has posted four shutouts and allowed just six goals in the eight games they have played since Neal made the switch. She still ranks third on the team with three goals and seven points this season.
Make sure to tune into SEC Network +/WatchESPN this Friday to see UT’s exciting trio of stars take on Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. ET in Lexington, Ky.
