Barnett Named To ESPN, Rivals All-Bowl Teams

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Derek Barnett was named to the ESPN All-Bowl Team and Rivals' All-Bowl Team following the Vols' 45-6 domination of Northwestern in the Outback Bowl. Barnett was also recognized by the Associated Press.

The defensive end was a force in the win over the Wildcats as he had eight tackles, a sack and forced fumble. He had nine sacks in the last eight games of the season with sacks in seven of eight games.

Following the regular-season, Barnett was named to the AP and Coaches All-SEC Second Team. He finished the season with 69 tackles, a team-best 10 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss. He enters his junior season eighth in career sacks at Tennessee with 20.
