Vol Network Additions For 2015

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Pat Ryan and John Brice will join the Vol Radio Network broadcast team on football Saturdays this season.
Ryan will join Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and John Wilkerson as an analyst on the “Kickoff Call-In Show” 90 minutes prior to kickoff. On home games the crew will be on-site at the Vol Network-General Shale Patio as the base of “The Hill” outside Gate 21 at Neyland Stadium. Ryan, a former UT quarterback who had a 14-year NFL career, is a Vol Network veteran who also serves as co-host of the weekly “Big Orange Hotline” radio show during football season. Ryan has provided color commentary for numerous Tennessee television games over the years and has been an analyst on Tennessee’s coaches TV show. He also served for a number of years as the radio color analyst for the NFL’s Tennessee Titans.
Brice will serve as the Vol Network’s sideline reporter and provide news, updates and reports from the field. New for this season, Brice will interview Coach Butch Jones at halftime of each game. He is the Assistant Editor with Rivals.com/VolQuest.com and covers University of Tennessee Athletics on a daily basis. Brice is also the co-host of the weekly statewide syndicated radio show “The Nation” and serves as a contributor on the “Butch Jones TV Show”. Brice replaces former Vol Andy Kelly on the sideline who stepped down due to career obligations.
The rest of the Vol Network game day programming lineup is set for the season. Brent Hubbs returns again to host “Spotlight on the SEC” 30 minutes prior to kickoff and serves as spotter and in-game contributor. Postgame, Wilkerson and Bobby Rader return to host “The Big Orange Scoreboard” from Vol Network control with Priest interviewing Tennessee players from the locker room. Bob Kesling will anchor ”The Butch Jones Show” with an exclusive 15-minute interview with Tennessee’s head coach after the game. Wilkerson, Rader and former Vol David Ligon will host “The Final Scoreboard” to wrap up the Vol Network’s six-plus hour slate of statewide programming.
Close to 65 radio stations carry University of Tennessee football making the Vol Network one of the country’s largest collegiate radio networks. The Network boasts the most 100,000-watt FM radio stations in the country – with four (4). Fans can also listen to games via SiriusXM, utsports.com, UT’s Game Day App, and TuneIn.
