Sutton Named SN Preseason All-American

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Rising junior Cameron Sutton was honored as a Sporting Nation Preseason Second Team All-American for his defense. Sutton has already received praise this preseason from numerous outlets, including Athlon Sports, Lindy's Sports and Phil Steele.

Sutton started in all 13 games in 2014, posting 37 tackles with four for a loss and a team-best 16 passes defended. His 16 passes defended was good for fourth in the conference and are the third-most in a season in Tennessee history. Sutton's 25 career passes defended are tied for ninth-most in a career in Tennessee history. Additionally, he was tied for second on the team with three interceptions.
