Hatcher Named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Senior defensive specialist Megan Hatcher was named to the SEC Volleyball Community Service Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Hatcher, who completed her collegiate career Friday with a 3-0 win over Georgia, has been a regular member of the team's rotation the last three years. Off the court, she's been one of the team leaders in community service and among fellow Tennessee student-athletes.
She has volunteered her time to both the East Tennessee Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House during her career.
She has also been an active member of Tennessee's student-athlete advisory committee, serving this season as the chair of the marketing committee this year. She has worked at athletic department events like Voloween, a Halloween event for university faculty and staff children.
Hatcher is majoring in Marketing - Human Resources. She is a two-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
