BATON ROUGE, La. -- The Tennessee volleyball team returns to the road for a Wednesday match against LSU at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The match starts at 9 p.m. Eastern and will be broadcast on ESPNU. It is the Vols' first of six nationally televised SEC matches this season.
Tennessee (16-3, 2-2 SEC) is coming of a split weekend, having defeated Alabama at home and losing on the road to Missouri. LSU (6-9, 2-2) had a pair of five-setters last weekend at home, beating Georgia before losing to Auburn.

Last Match: UT lost 3-1 at LSU last November. Setter Taylor Johnson had a double-double (28 assists, 10 digs). Kanisha Jimenez recorded 11 kills and eight digs.

DEFENSIVE NATIONAL RANKING
Tennessee ranks sixth in the country in opponent hitting percentage (.134). Last season, opponents hit .229.
The Vols now lead the SEC in opponent hit percentage and rank second in digs (16.22/set) and fifth in blocks (2.39/set).
Bridgette Villano is ranked third in the SEC in digs per set (4.53). She has 299 this season.
TREIBER EARNS SEC HONORS AGAIN
On Monday, middle hitter Erica Treiber was named SEC Freshman of the Week for a second time this season.
She had nine kills and eight blocks in the victory over Alabama and then posted nine kills and five blocks in Sunday's match at Missouri. She has led the Vols in blocks nine times this season.
Treiber leads Tennessee in both hitting percentage (.357) and blocks per set (1.14) this season. Her hitting percentage ranks eighth in the SEC.
