OXFORD, Miss. -- The Tennessee Volunteers hit the halfway point of their SEC volleyball schedule this weekend with matches at Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
Friday's match at Ole Miss is Friday at 7:30 p.m. Eastern and will be streamed as part of the SEC Network+ (available on the WatchESPN app and espn3.com). Sunday's match at Mississippi State is Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern and will be televised on the SEC Network.
Tennessee (18-5, 4-4 SEC) finished a three-match home stand with a five-set victory over South Carolina on Sunday. Erica Treiber had a career-high 16 kills and three aces in the victory.
Ole Miss enters the weekend 17-5, 3-4 in SEC play. Mississippi State is 13-8, 3-5.

The Vols are first the SEC in opponent hit percentage (.158) and second in digs (15.83/set).
Bridgette Villano is second in the SEC in digs per set (4.52).
In the SEC, Erica Treiber is sixth in blocks (1.12 B/Set) and ninth in hitting% (.337).
Lexi Dempsey is eighth in assists (10.39 A/set) and fourth in the SEC in double-doubles (9).
NEWCOMERS IN STARTING ROLES
Five newcomers have started matches for Tennessee: Bri Holmes, Erica Treiber, Stephanie Buss, Brooke Schumacher and Nora Reed. Holmes and Treiber have started every match.
Treiber, a freshman, has contributed a team-leading 1.11 blocks/set and is third on the team with 2.26 kills/set at the middle hitter position. She currently ranks sixth in the SEC in blocks and ninth in hitting percentage (.348). Treiber had a career match against South Carolina (10/16) in which she had 16 kills and three aces.
Holmes is second on the team with 2.74 kills/set. She had a season-best 22 kills vs. LSU. She and Kanisha Jimenez are the only Vols to surpass 20 kills in a match this season.
Schumacher, another freshman, has started the last four matches as a defensive specialist. She averages 1.93 digs/set and five 10+ dig matches.
Buss has started six matches; Reed has started four.
