Tennessee (3-3, 1-2 SEC) and Alabama (6-1, 3-1 SEC) will square off for the 98th time. The Crimson Tide leads the all-time series, 52-38-7, and UA has won the last eight meetings. Tennessee last defeated Alabama, 16-13, on Oct. 21, 2006 in Knoxville. The Vols' last win over UA in Tuscaloosa was a quintuple-overtime, 51-43 thriller in 2003.
UT was last in action on Oct. 10 when the Vols stormed back to defeat Georgia, 38-31, at Neyland Stadium. Joshua Dobbs had a performance for the ages, throwing for three touchdowns and a career-high 312 yards and rushing for 118 yards and two scores while leading UT back from a 21-point deficit. Tennessee had the bye week last week.
Alabama is coming off of a 41-23 win over then-No. 9 Texas A&M on Saturday in College Station. The Tide returned three interceptions for touchdowns and Derrick Henry rumbled to 236 rushing yards.

Trevor Daniel is fourth in the NCAA and second in the SEC in punting average at 47.6. Of Daniel's 33 punts, 14 went 50-plus yards and 13 have landed inside the 20-yard line.
Cameron Sutton is ninth in the NCAA punt return average (16.0).
#NeedToKnow
The Vols' 38-31 comeback win over No. 19 Georgia tied for the third-largest comeback in UT history and is the second-largest in Neyland Stadium history for Vols.
Walter Camp National Player of Week and SEC Offensive Player of Week (10/12) Joshua Dobbs had 430 yards of total offense in Vols' win.
Dobbs had the second 300-yard passing/100-yard rushing game of his career with 312 passing and 118 rushing vs. Georgia.
Dobbs is the only player in Tennessee history to accomplish the feat and third in the SEC over the last 20 years, joining Tim Tebow and Johnny Manziel.
