JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Donnie Tyndall has been on the job as Tennessee's basketball coach for exactly four weeks after being hired on Tuesday, April 22. Some might argue his first official day as the head man of the Vols came on Tuesday, May 20, when he donned an orange blazer for the first time.
At the Johnson City Big Orange Caravan, Tyndall was presented his first orange blazer, by the sons of the man who made it famous, legendary coach Ray Mears.
As Tyndall finished speaking to the sellout crowd in Johnson City, Steve and Matt Mears presented him with an authentic orange blazer for the 2014-15 season.
Here is Tyndall's media session prior to the presentation
