2014 PREVIEW
- This exhibition race is the first race for the Lady Volunteers in the 2014 competition season.
- The Lady Voluteers had a strong fall season with at least one first place finish at every fall race.
- At the Chattanooga Head Race in early October the Collegiate 2- swept the top four spots.
- Although no official times were recorded, the team travelled to Duke University where the novice six placed first and in the 'A' pairs race, the Lady Vols placed second.
- In the final race of the fall, the Big Orange secured gold in the Championship 4 race.
- Last season, the team finished second at the Conference USA championships, falling to Oklahoma.

At the Ohio State Invitational in 2013, Tennessee raced at the time, No. 8 Michigan and No. 4 Ohio State. In head-to-head competition against Michigan, Tennessee came up short in all races in Columbus.
SCOUTING THE WOLVERINES
- The University of Michigan rowing team opened their 2014 spring season with a trip to the University of Texas for exhibition races on February 9.
- In their first race of the spring, they had three varsity eights in the workout.
- No results were recorded during this exhibition workout.
- The Wolverines ended their 2012-13 campaign with a 12th place finish at the NCAA Championships at Eagle Creek Park. The team scored 69 points at the championship, closing with a ninth-place showing in the 1V8+, 12th in the 1V4+ and 15th in the 2V8+.

- This will be the first exhibition race of the 2014 spring season for the Knights of Central Florida.
- In 2013, the UCF rowing team finished eighth at the Conference USA Championships on Melton Hill Lake, in Oak Ridge.
