Women's Tennis Inks Three Future Vols

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee women's tennis program started its 2015 signing class this week with the addition of Gabrielle Schuck, Ashley Bongart and Margo Taylor.
Schuck, a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., is a five-star recruit who tennisrecrutiing.net rates the 38th best recruit in the 2015 recruiting class. She is the No. 2 ranked player in the state of Colorado. She has also won two USTA Championships since August.
"Gabrielle is coached by former Tennessee player Mandy Wilson," Co-Head Coach Mike Patrick said. "She knows what it takes to work hard like a Tennessee Volunteer. She excited about the competition here."
Bongart, from Bradenton, Fla., is also five-star recruit for the Lady Vols that is rated as the 53rd player in the class by tennisrecruiting.net.
"Ashley is a very talented player," Patrick said about what she brings to the team. "She has a lot of potential and is eager to learn. She is a big hitter and plays aggressively. She will certainly be a big addition to our team."
Taylor, a two-star recruit from Dallas, completes the class. She is ranked the 382nd player according to tennisrecruiting.net. She has recently won the San Antonio Tennis Association SCMZ Excellence.
"She is a good athlete and will add depth to our program," Co-Head Coach Sonia Hahn-Patrick said about Taylor. "She has a lot of room for improvement, but she is athletic and good at doubles. We are excited to have her."
All three of the players plan to join the team in fall of 2015.
