Media Day Interaction With @LadyVol_Hoops
October 27, 2014 | Women's Basketball
LIVE GOOGLE HANGOUT!
After allowing fans a glimpse of media day activities via a live webcast last year, Wednesday's 2014-15 Tennessee women's basketball media day will offer another new wrinkle to engage Big Orange followers. Fans and out-of-town media will have an opportunity to watch interviews with the Lady Vols and ask their own questions via an online Google+ Hangout.
From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday, UT writer and announcer Brian Rice will host Tennessee players on a Google+ Hangout video web chat. In addition to his own Q&A session, Rice will take questions from online participants in the Hangout and pose them to the players at #LVMD14.
Media day is closed to the public, but anyone can watch the Google+ Hangout video chat, but those wishing to ask questions must sign up or sign in via a Google+ account. To do so is free. The video chat can be accessed on the UTSports.com #LVMD14 page at 1:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and the content will be archived for replay on the same page.
At 1:05 p.m., head coach Holly Warlick's news conference will be live streamed on UTSports.com. That presser also will be available for replay on the UTSports.com recap page.
Beginning at 1 p.m., you may also enjoy getting glimpses of the Lady Vol players and coaches at media day via the various Tennessee women's basketball social media platforms. Those include @LadyVol_Hoops on Twitter, @ladyvol_hoops on Instagram and BallWithTheLadyVols on facebook.
After media day concludes, recap videos and photos will be posted on UTsports.com and also shared on the official team Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BallWithTheLadyVols.
