Who's Playing?
Singles: Laurence Guevremont, Joanna Henderson, Brittany Lindl, Victoria Olivarez, Tiffany Tavares
Doubles: Henderson/Williams, Olivarez/Lindl, Tavares/Guevremont
- This is the first time the Lady Vols have hosted the championship since the Goodfriend Tennis Center underwent its four to six court expansion in 2011.
- This is the second tournament of the fall for Tennessee after playing in the Furman Fall Classic on Sept. 26-28, 2014.
Team Update
- There will be six girls playing this weekend with seniors Joanna Henderson and Caitlyn Williams, junior Tiffany Tavares and sophomores Laurence Guevremont, Brittany Lindl and Victoria Olivarez.
- This will be Williams' first tournament of the year after recovering from a summer shoulder surgery. She is ranked with Henderson as the No. 16 doubles team in the Preseason ITA Rankings. She will only be playing in doubles matches this weekend.
Previous Success
- The Lady Vols have had a winner in the tournament in three of the last four doubles titles.
2010 - An All UT final when Brynn Boren and Maria Sorbello defeated Rosalia Alda and Millie Nichols 8-2.
2011 - All-Americans Natalie Pluskota and Kata Szekely defeated Tiffany Welcher and Alyssa Hibbard of Memphis with a best-of-three 6-3, 6-2 win.
2012 - All-Americans Brynn Boren and Kata Szekely defeated Ashleigh Antal/Marie Casares of Vanderbilt 6-0, 6-1 in the best of three series.
