Rain Suspends Play at Bank of Tennessee

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. - On Friday, the Tennessee men's golf team was only able to complete 14 holes of play before rain delays suspended first round competition at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.
The Vols will resume first round play at 8:45 a.m. (ET) on Saturday morning. The second round will begin following the completion of the first round.
At the break, Tennessee sits in 12th place at seven-over par. The Volunteers are led by junior Chad Merzbacher and sophomore Jack Smith. Both men are even par through the suspended first round.
Wrapping up the rest of the scoring for the Vols, sophomore Juan Carlos Serrano Guevara finished 3-over par, freshman Lorenzo Scalise is 4-over par through 15 holes, and freshman Jordan Gumberg finished 6-over par.
