Lady Vols Play Twice On Big Monday

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee women's basketball team will make two appearances on ESPN2's Big Monday Presented by Verizon hoops series, the network announced Wednesday.
The Lady Vols, ranked No. 3 in the espnW 2014-15 Preseason Top 25 Poll, will make both of their Big Monday appearances on the road. UT will help kick off the 2015 exclusive series when it plays at No. 5 Notre Dame at 7 p.m. ET on Jan. 19.
Tennessee will return to the network's big stage on Feb. 23, when it travels to Columbia to face No. 2 South Carolina in a Play 4Kay matchup at 9 p.m. ET. That contest is part of a Big Monday doubleheader, with No. 16 Louisville playing at Notre Dame in the evening's opener at 7 ET.
espnW.com will provide season-long original content and supporting material for ESPN's top games, including leading into games with espnW's national player-of-the-week and updated Bracketology from Charlie Creme. The espnW season preview will run November 3-7.
All Big Monday telecasts will also be available through WatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 or Xbox One to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
Holly Warlick's squad makes it 2014-15 debut on Nov. 9 at Thompson-Boling Arena with a 2 p.m. exhibition game vs. Carson-Newman. The Lady Vols will open the regular season on Nov. 14 by hosting defending Ivy League champ and NCAA participant Penn at 7 p.m.
