ON THE ROAD
First Road Weekend- The Vols are on the road for the first time this season, taking a weekend trip through Oklahoma.
- Tennessee plays Oklahoma State on Friday at 4 p.m. Eastern and then travels to Tulsa for a match Sunday at 1 p.m.
- It marks the first UT dual match road trip for Bartosz Sawicki, Markus Kerner and Andrew Dromsky.
- The Vols were 7-0 on the road last year.
Battle of Unbeatens
- No. 6 Tennessee enters Friday's match 6-0, all the team's wins coming at home
- No. 50 Oklahoma State is 5-0
- Both teams have a shared opponent this season: ETSU
Heading to National Indoors
- The Vols booked their ticket to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships for the sixth consecutive year
- Tennessee defeated Michigan State 4-1 and VCU 4-0 last weekend in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend to qualify
- National Indoors will be held this year in Houston, hosted by Texas A&M
Welcome to 2014
- The Vols are starting 2014 just like they ended last season: ranked sixth nationally
- The top four singles starters are returning for Tennessee: Mikelis Libietis, Hunter Reese, Jarryd Chaplin and Brandon Fickey.
- Sam Winterbotham is in his eighth year as head coach at Tennessee. In that time He and associate head coach Chris Woodruff have compiled a 165-49 record.
