Vols Join Special Olympics Opening Ceremony

GATLINBURG, Tenn. -- More than a dozen members of the Tennessee football team took part in the Tennessee Special Olympics Opening Ceremony for their winter games this past weekend. Junior linebacker Curt Maggitt was the keynote speaker. He gave a motivational speech for the 180 athletes, who competed in speed skating, snow boarding and ice skiing.
