Hoops Hosting "Meet Your Seats" Sept. 18

With the 2012-13 college basketball season fast approaching, Tennessee Athletics invites fans to the annual "Meet Your Seats" at Thompson-Boling Arena Tuesday, Sept. 18. On that day, fans can see the available inventory for both men's and women's basketball season tickets and "test drive" seats between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET before committing to season tickets.
Current donors and season-ticket holders also are invited to "Meet Your Seats" to look at opportunities to add or relocate season tickets. Several giveaways will be drawn throughout the day for new season-ticket holders who purchase season tickets on site. Prizes include a 2012-13 men's and women's basketball parking pass.
"It's a special experience to attend a game at the arena, and this approach gives fans a chance to feel some of that gameday excitement," said Chris Fuller, UT's Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development and External Operations. "In addition, this is a unique opportunity, as this is the only basketball `Meet Your Seats' that will be held prior to the season."
Free parking will be available in parking lot 5A off Phillip Fulmer Way adjacent to Thompson-Boling Arena. Once parked, fans can follow posted signs to the northeast concourse-level entrance of the arena.
