#14 TENNESSEE (3-2) at WICHITA STATE (3-2)
- Tennessee defeated No. 24 Colorado State in five sets on Friday night, but lost to tournament champion BYU (6-0) on Saturday evening in four frames.
- In 2011, the Big Orange finished with a 14-3 record in matches away from Thompson-Boling Arena, including a 3-1 mark in a neutral location.
- This will be the first-ever matchup between the Lady Vols and the Shockers.
- The winner of the match will take second place at the event.
SCOUTING THE SHOCKERS
- The Wichita State Shockers won their opening matchup against No. 24 Colorado State, but lost to BYU in five sets on Friday night.
- WSU Senior libero Jackie Church was named Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week this week. She averaged 4.83 digs, 0.33 aces, 1.25 assists and 0.17 kills per set last week. She notched a match-high 15 digs against New Mexico State and posted a career-high 31 scoops against Northern Illinois.
- Head Coach Chris Lamb returns for his 13th season. He's a four-time winner of the MVC Coach of the Year award and has guided the Shockers to nine-straight 20-win seasons. Last season, he became the winningest coach in Shocker volleyball history.
