PLAYER SPOTLIGHTTerry Fair
Defensive Back (1994-97)
The only player to ever earn All-SEC First Team honors while wearing number 13 for the Vols, Terry Fair was a four-year letterman at Tennessee from 1994-97.
A native of Phoenix, Ariz., Fair earned league honors as both a junior and a senior after leading UT in interceptions both years, recording four in 1996 and five in 1997.
Currently a radio sports talk show host in Knoxville, Fair finished his career at Rocky Top with 163 tackles, two forced fumbles, 19 PBUs and 11 interceptions. He also returned 53 punts for 745 yards and two touchdowns and 11 kickoffs for 253 yards.
A first-round selection by the Detroit Lions in the 1998 NFL Draft, Fair played six season in the NFL with the Lions (1998-2001), Carolina Panthers (2002) and St. Louis Rams (2005).
