THE OLE MISS GAME
- This marks the 46th meeting between the two schools dating back to the 1976-77 season. Tennessee leads the series with Ole Miss, 38-7.
- Last season, the teams met in home-and-home games. On Jan. 9, 2011, the Lady Vols defeated Ole Miss, 86-46 in Knoxville.
- Tennessee traveled to Oxford on Feb. 24, 2011, and won its first rain-shortened game, 66-39.
- UT held a 27-point advantage when last year's game in Oxford was called with 5:24 left due to rain leaking from the roof onto the playing surface.
