Coach's Evaluation:
"Skylar is one of the best pure shooters in the country. Everyone in practice thinks it's going in every time he releases it. He's put a lot of work into becoming more consistent, as it showed last year by shooting 39 percent from 3-point range. He's spent a lot of time this offseason working on his pull-up as well as getting separation from his defender so he's not one-dimensional offensively. Skylar is one of the toughest players on the team and isn't afraid to stick his nose in the action. We love that about him."

"Both are small-town Tennessee boys who grew up wanting to be Vols. They were heroes in their respective communities who everyone looked up to for their athletic abilities, but more importantly for their outstanding academic performance and character. On the floor, they both play with all-out hustle and are very physical players. Neither will ever back down, no matter who the opponent is. Both can shoot the three. However, I would give the edge to Skylar in that regard. Both players are a credit to their families and their university."
