The Tennessee basketball team faced Georgia Tech in a "silent scrimmage" Sunday at McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The scrimmage was closed to the media and public, with only essential team personnel present.

NCAA guidelines prohibit teams from publicizing "silent scrimmages," and team personnel also are prohibited from commenting on specific score and/or statistical information following the event.

Tennessee hosts Memphis-based Victory University for an open exhibition game at Thompson-Boling Arena on Monday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. ET.
