Arena to Host "Meet Your Seats" Event

With the 2011-12 men's and women's basketball seasons right around the corner, Tennessee Athletics invites fans to a "Meet Your Seats" event Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. ET at Thompson-Boling Arena. Fans will have the opportunity to take a first-hand look at available seats in the arena while also having the chance to purchase men's and women's basketball season tickets.
"Meet Your Seats" is a chance for Tennessee fans who do not currently have men's or women's season tickets to come to Thompson-Boling Arena after work and look at seat options for the upcoming season. Fans will be able to see available options and sit in the seats and "test drive" them before committing to season tickets.
"It's a special experience to attend a game at the arena. This approach gives fans a chance to feel some of that gameday excitement," UT Interim Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Joan Cronan said. "In addition, this is a unique opportunity, as this is the only basketball 'Meet Your Seats' that will be held prior to the season."
Free parking is available in the G-10 garage, located on Phillip Fulmer Way and adjacent to Thompson-Boling Arena and Neyland Stadium. Once parked, fans can follow posted signs to the northeast concourse-level entrance of the arena.
