With fall individual workouts underway on The Hill, coach Cuonzo Martin and a group of Vols took advantage of an off day Wednesday to visit Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Clinic in Knoxville.
The clinic, founded by famous actress and Knoxville native, opened in 1978 as a rehabilitation center for stroke, spinal cord and brain injury patients. After a brief tour of the grounds, seven Vols, along with Martin and student-athlete welfare coordinator Marco Harris spent time visiting with patients and their families.
"This was a great experience for us," junior guard Skylar McBee said. "Our fans are some of the most supportive in the nation, and it's very important to all of us to support them, as well. This is a great facility, and they are doing a lot of great work here."
