ROB PATRICK ON SCHEIDT: "The first thing we are going to do is look in our backyard for talent and in the past we just haven't had that available so we are very excited that Kylann was here in Knoxville and decided to come to Tennessee. She is going to be a little different than the setters we have had in the past in that she is going to be a force at the net. She is as athletic or more athletic than any setter we've ever had and is able to set at the net at a higher level, physically, than we've been able to do. Kylann is also a fearless setter. She will really force the ball to our middle hitters and believes she can set the ball to anybody at any time. It was great that she was able to come in and learn our system during the spring because the one thing she needed to get better at was her consistency and she really worked hard with Dani Busboom on that. Over the course of the last six months she really increased her skill level and took a lot of reps, so we are very excited about her development, as well as the physicality that she can bring to the court, especially defensively."
