Free H1N1 Vaccines at Tennessee Basketball Games

The Knox County Health Department is offering free H1N1 vaccines at the Tennessee men's basketball game against Florida on Jan. 31 and the Lady Vols basketball game against Arkansas on Feb. 4. Vaccinations on Jan. 31 will be offered in Pratt Pavilion starting at 11 a.m. and continuing until everyone has been vaccinated. The game is set to tip-off at 1 p.m.
Vaccinations prior to the Lady Vols game on Feb. 4 will be offered in Room "A" of the Arena Dining area of Thompson-Boling Arena and in Pratt Pavilion from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. or until everyone in line has been vaccinated. The Lady Vols game time is set for 7 p.m.
H1N1 vaccines can be administered by shot or nasal spray. The shot is available to anyone over the age of 6 months. The nasal spray vaccine is available only for ages 2 to 49. For more information on H1N1 vaccines visit flu.gov or www.knoxcounty.org/health/index.php.
TENNESSEE'S GAME AT LSU NEXT THURSDAY DESIGNATED FOR ESPN2
It was announced recently that Tennessee's men's basketball game at LSU next Thursday, Feb. 4, has been designated for national telecast on ESPN2. The Volunteers and Tigers tip-off at 8 p.m. CT at Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, La.
