It has been 12 days since former Vol Julio Borbon was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and in that time, he has turned some heads. From his speedy base-running to his powerful performance at the place, Borbon is becoming a fixture in the Texas Ranger's lineup. Along with other former Vol stars Nick Hernandez and Danny Wiltz, Borbon is having an all-star week.
Julio Borbon- CF, Texas Rangers
The second time was a charm for former Vol slugger Julio Borbon (2005-07). Borbon was called on by the Rangers in June and then again Aug. 9. In his latest performance, Borbon is not wasting any time impressing the baseball world.

During this span, he also has eight stolen bases, eight runs and six RBI. In the Ranger's Aug. 20 game against the Minnesota Twins, Borbon hit his first Major League home run. His recent hot streak takes his season batting average to a humble .485.
