Just in time for Father???s Day weekend, the University of Tennessee and IMG/Vol Network proudly announce the arrival of the latest product from Vol Network Home Entertainment. ???Tennessee Basketball 2007-08: Commitment??? the highly anticipated video story of the most successful season in Tennessee basketball history on DVD is on sale now at participating JCPenney stores across the state of Tennessee and online at volnetwork.tv.??
Head Coach Bruce Pearl and the Vol Network???s Bob Kesling sit inside Pratt Pavilion, Tennessee???s new basketball practice facility, and recall the key victories and big moments from the 2007-08 season. The Volunteers fulfilled high expectations with a historic and record-setting year. Tennessee reeled off an 11-game win streak early in the season including impressive wins at Xavier and Gonzaga and a home victory over Ohio State. The Vols then completed a sweep of all six SEC West opponents for the first time since division play began.

By late February, Tennessee had climbed to No.2 in the polls, setting up an unprecedented match-up at No.1 ranked Memphis. A pair of late free throws sealed the win, giving the program its first No.1 ranking. Tennessee claimed its first outright SEC title in 41 years with a victory at Florida and a few days later the Vols celebrated by cutting down the nets at Thompson-Boling Arena on Senior Day. Sharpshooter Chris Lofton became the SEC???s all-time three-point scorer and solidified his place as a Tennessee legend. The Vols advanced to the NCAA???s ???Sweet 16??? for the second consecutive year and shattered the school record for victories in a season with a sterling 31-5 mark. This season retrospective features game action, play-by-play and commentary from Vol Radio Network broadcasts along with behind the scenes and locker room footage.
