Vols in MLB Spring Training

Last week???s spring training highlights from former Tennessee players in professional baseball include a power display by Chase Headley and consistent performances from two veterans. Below are the best performances from former Vols during last week???s action.
Julio Borbon (2005-07) has gone 3-for-7 in Cactus League games and is showing the speed and defense that the Rangers are looking for in centerfield. Back on March 1, Borbon hit a grand slam off the bench during a 15-7 win over the Kansas City Royals.
Chase Headley (2004-05) went 2-for-3 at the plate with a triple, a home run and three RBI in the San Diego Padres 9-5 victory over the Texas Rangers on Saturday. Headley is now hitting .471 with two home runs and eight RBI in 10 games this spring.
Todd Helton had two singles and two RBI in the Colorado Rockies??? 10-7 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Friday. Helton is carrying a .313 average through seven games during spring training.
Chris Burke contributed a three-run, bases-clearing double in the second inning of the Arizona Diamondbacks??? 7-10 losing effort against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. He also had two doubles and one RBI in a game against the Royals on Thursday. Burke is tied for the team-lead with four doubles this spring.
