JaJuan Smith Needs 8 Points for 1200
- Tennessee will meet a SEC Western Division opponent for the fourth time in five games when the Volunteers play host to the Arkansas Razorbacks at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Thompson-Boling Arena.
- JaJuan Smith stole the ball from LSU???s Marcus Thornton and drove in for an uncontested layup with 11 seconds left to give the Vols a 47-45 win over LSU Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge. Chris Lofton led the Vols with 15 points while Tyler Smith added 12. The 47 points are the second-lowest of the Bruce Pearl era at Tennessee and the fewest in a UT win since a 47-48 victory at Kentucky on Jan. 12, 1999.
- UT???s 21-2 start is the best 23-game start in school history. Tennessee reached the 20-win milestone faster than any previous team in school history.
- Arkansas is one of just two schools that has recorded a win against the Vols in Thompson-Boling Arena since the start of the 2005-06 season. The Razorbacks ended UT???s 15-game homecourt winning streak with an upset of the 10th-ranked Vols 69-73 Feb. 25, 2006.
- Chris Lofton broke the SEC record for career 3-pointers at Kentucky (1/22/08) and ranks seventh in NCAA history with 392 career triples. The Maysville, Ky., native has heated up as of late, making 47.9 percent (35-of-73) of his long-range shots in SEC play.
