Vols in the NFL ??? Divisional Round

Tennessee has 14 former players on teams that qualified for the playoffs and 11 were in action on the second weekend of the postseason.?? Below is a recap of the performances from former Vols during the divisional round.
?????The Packers had three former Vols in the starting lineup in their 42-20 win over the Seahawks on Saturday afternoon. Defensive tackle Justin Harrell made three tackles in the game and has 19 tackles on the season. Offensive tackle Chad Clifton started his 17th game of the season and center Scott Wells started for the 14th time. The offensive line helped pave the way for 235 rushing yards and allowed Brett Favre to be sacked only once.
?????On the losing end of the Green Bay-Seattle match up was defensive back Deon Grant. Grant posted four tackles and finished the season with 81.
?????New England had two former Vols in uniform for Saturday night???s 31-20 win over Jacksonville. Donte Stallworth led the Patriots in receiving yards with 68 on three receptions. Kelley Washington played on special teams and was credited with one tackle.
?????In a losing effort, Jacksonville defensive tackle John Henderson posted a team-high eight tackles including a sack. Henderson finished the season with 47 tackles and four sacks.
?????Peyton Manning completed 33 of 48 passes for 402 yards and three touchdowns in Indianapolis??? 28-24 loss to the Chargers on Sunday. Manning???s 402 yards was the second-highest total in a playoff game in his career. For the 2007 season, Manning finished with 4,442 passing yards, 34 touchdowns and a completion percentage of 65.7.
?????In the Giants 21-17 upset of the Cowboys, Gibril Wilson made a game-high 10 tackles. Wilson has 106 stops in 15 games this season.
?????The Cowboys started two former Vols in their third game of the season vs. their division rival. Tight end Jason Witten led all Dallas receivers with seven grabs for 81 yards, while linebacker Kevin Burnett made one stop. Witten finished the 2007 season with a career-best 1,226 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Burnett closed the campaign with 54 tackles.
?????Other notes: A New England win over San Diego in the AFC Championship Game assures Tennessee of having a former player in the Super Bowl for the 16th consecutive season ??? Former Vol wide receiver Eric Parker is on injured reserve for the Chargers ??? Witten and the Titans??? Albert Haynesworth were named to the Associated Press All-Pro team last week.
