Vols in the NFL ??? Week 2 Highlights

The NFL completed week two of its schedule Monday night. The week was highlighted by strong play by former Vol offensive and defensive linemen as well as two big performances from former Tennessee running backs.?? Below are the best performances from former Volunteers during the weekend???s action.
?????After getting off to a slow start in Week 1, Jamal Lewis turned in big numbers against the Cincinnati Bengals, rushing for a career-high 216 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries. His 66-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the fourth-longest rush and the third-longest touchdown run of his career. Through two games, Lewis is second in the league with 251 rushing yards.
?????Travis Henry carried 26 times for 128 yards in Denver???s second nail-biter of the season, a 23-20 overtime win over Oakland. Henry rushed for 29 yards on six carries in a Denver drive that resulted in a game-tying field goal late in the fourth quarter. He then carried five times for 20 yards in the Broncos??? second possession of overtime to put the team in position for the game-winning field goal.?? Henry???s 267 yards this season ranks him atop the NFL.
?????Fred Weary was the starting right guard in the Texans??? 34-21 win over the Panthers Sunday. The Houston offensive line did not allow a sack in 28 passing plays and also helped the Texans gain 119 yards on the ground. Weary has started 33 games for the Texans, who are 2-0 for the first time in franchise history.
?????Jacksonville defensive tackle John Henderson registered three tackles and a sack in the Jaguars 13-7 win over the Falcons. Atlanta managed only 82 yards on the ground and 248 yards of total offense in the game.
?????Other notes: The Colts??? Peyton Manning leads the NFL in passing yards with 600 after throwing for 312 yards in the Colts??? 22-20 win over the Titans ??? Gibril Wilson has two interceptions in two games for the Giants and is tied for second on the team with 13 tackles ??? Darwin Walker posted four tackles in Chicago???s 20-10 win over the Chiefs ??? Omar Gaither posted nine tackles in Philadelphia???s 20-12 loss to the Redskins Monday night.??
