Dear friends,

I want to thank everyone that wrote, called and e-mailed me and my office regarding the ESPN article that Gene Wojciechowski did for ESPN.com on June 18.

There is no way to write each person a thank you. The show of support and appreciation was amazing!

I appreciate all who have stepped up in the battle against teenage suicide. Just the fact that the awareness has been raised is a great step. If we save one life and the suffering of one family, all our efforts have been worth it.

This is my 10th year as national spokesperson of the Jason Foundation. Clark Flatt and his staff do most of the work, but if by lending my name and position to this wonderful organization has helped, I am honored to do so.
