You worked as a page in the North Carolina House of Representatives a couple years ago. Did you enjoy that experience?
???It was a good experience. It was a chance for me to be in a political and business atmosphere. I had the chance to work with several of the representatives. It was a good opportunity for me.???
How did you get involved with the page program?
???I was recommended for it by a friend of a friend. I don???t think I have an interest in politics after doing it, but it was a fun thing to do for the summer.???
What were your responsibilities?
???I worked mostly for Rep. Pete Cunningham. I did a lot of running notes back and forth between the chambers, that and some other office work. ???
How do you feel about your progress so far this season?
???I???m feeling really good about it. I have made progress with the playbook and I am improving on the field. Coach Roper is saying a lot of good things about me, so I am just trying to be the right guy for this team.???
What is something few people know about you?
???A lot of people don???t know that I like to sing. I???m not any good, though. I can???t sing even a little bit, but I try and sing anything and everything.???
Who are your role models?
???I think my mom is probably my biggest role model. Emmitt Smith is my favorite running back.???
Do you have any nicknames?
???They called me ???The Truth??? when I was in middle school and high school. That didn???t really make it here with me, so I guess I don???t have one anymore.???
