You have moved to defense after playing tailback in high school. How has that change gone for you?
???I think I am adjusting OK because some of the older backs have been helping me out a lot. This is nothing like running back, though.???
What has been the most difficult thing for you to grasp?
???In high school, I played a little bit of safety, but we never played any zone coverage. I always just came in to play man. All of the different coverages are new to me, and I have to open up and run with receivers that are a lot faster than in high school.???
Through three scrimmages, do you feel like you???re making significant progress?
???I feel better and better after each practice. I???m lining up against older, stronger guys every day and that is helping. Being in the scrimmage and going live is helping me see things better.???
What was the deciding factor in you coming to Tennessee?
???It was a lot of things. The biggest thing was the coaches. I felt like I had a better bond with the coaches here than anywhere else. There is nothing like getting to stay around here and have the support I???ve always had from my family and the fans.???
Is there a pro player you model your game after?
???I have two or three favorite players, but they are all on the offensive side of the ball. The only other one is Devin Hester. I???d like to return kicks like he does.
Who are your role models off the field?
???My older brother, Kevin. He has been like a father to me. He has been there for me a lot of times when I wouldn???t have had anybody at all if not for him.???
Who have you gotten to know well on the team?
???I played against Anthony Anderson in high school, but I didn???t really know him. Now that we are on the same team, he and I have become pretty good friends.???
