What set Tennessee apart in your decision concerning where to play college football?
???It was the people here. It was an off-the-field thing. You can do the on-field things anywhere. Everybody is going to teach you the same routes and you???re going to do the same things.???
You worked two jobs last summer. How does that compare to a summer full of college football?
???It???s similar, just without the girls. There is a different reason for waking up in the morning now. There is motivation and immediate goals that we are working toward. Last summer it was about the paycheck, which I didn???t really need.???
What kind of experience was the U.S. Army All-American Bowl for you?
???It was a fun experience. It is a challenge to line yourself up against other guys that are standout players. It was fun to get to go out and compete again during the offseason.???
You???ve been through two scrimmages now. How are you progressing at wide receiver?
???It is a slow process. I???m not where I want to be. I have a lot of improvements to make. I take it a day at a time and try and get better with every play. Hopefully, that will get me a chance to get on the field and show what I can do.???
What pro players do you admire?
???I would have to say Chad Johnson. If I was going to pick someone to play like, it would be Ocho Cinco.???
What are some of your talents away from football?
???I am a musical type of guy. I play the piano and the drums a little, too. I used to play in the band. That???s where I got my drumming skills. I took piano lessons as a kid.???
Did you bring anything to Knoxville to remind you of home?
???I???ve got a box full of pictures in my room. I???ve got pictures of friends and family in there. I haven???t really gotten homesick yet, so I haven???t had to pull it out.
